Planting our wildflower cards
our business cards contain black-eyed susan seeds!
These perennial wildflowers are native to North America and prefer full sun with medium soil moisture. These bright yellow 2-3 inch blooms on 1-2 foot stems are a great addition to any pollinator garden, but don’t expect floral blooms until the second year. For best results, plant the card in a pot or directly in the ground, covered with a thin (1/8th inch) layer of soil. Tamp down the soil gently and water well, keeping the paper moist at all times for the first 10 days. Once sprouts appear, continue to keep soil moist, being careful not to over water. Once plants are established, water only as needed.
