Our Honey

Keeler Farm Honey is proud to say that our honey is sustainably produced, and will always be pure, raw, and organic. We never raise the temperature of the honey or pressure strain at any point from hive to bottle. In fact, we currently don’t use any powered machinery in our process— even our extractor is hand cranked! While this is less an intentional decision and more a result of using equipment passed down through generations, we are in no rush to ‘modernize’ our apiary. Caring for our bees means caring for the planet they live on, and we are happy with the small carbon footprint of our operation.

Those who have enjoyed our honey throughout the change in seasons will notice the color and taste changes with time. Our early honey harvest is usually the lightest in color, and it gradually darkens to a beautiful caramel color by the end of the honey flow season. The only difference is the plants the bees are foraging pollen from, no matter the color you can be sure it’s of the same quality as all of our products.

Our final note to our readers is in regards to the sale of our honey. Due to the small size of our operation, we are currently only selling on-site at the farm. If you’re interested in checking us out and learning more about how to try some of our sweet, sweet honey, drop us a line!
